1.  Socorro Hill Climb Pre-ride Report (.pdf)

2.  Socorro - For NMORS points and standings, the Saturday Hill Climb and the Sunday XC are individual series events worth 25 NMORS points each.

The promoter will use omnium scoring (as explained on the event website) for overall omnium places and prizes.

3.  Cloudcroft - The event flier says it is event # 2 in the NMORS, it is actually event #3.

4.  Cloudcroft - The event flier does not include the SingleSpeed category.  It will be offered.  If there are 5 or more SingleSpeeders, they can expect their own start time and prize list.  They will ride the Sport course (2 loops).

5.  Teams - We will try to keep track of racing teams and crunch some stats as the season rolls along.  In the chaos that can be race day, the individual event promoters may not be able to fully collect or communicate your team info to the NMORS data command center.  At any time, you or your team coordinator can send details on your team roster by writing an email to the addy shown at top.  This may lead to some sort of team competitions and awards for upcoming seasons.

6.  Sandia Peak Challenge - The NMORS portion of this event will consist of the "King/Queen of the Mountain" 8.3 mile hillclimb for all racers.  Results will be tabulated by Series categories and groups.

7.  Horny Toad Hustle - The course will have an A Loop and a B Loop.  The A Loop is the west side trails featuring the Roller Coaster, Green Rock, Second Peak, and Inner Loop.  The B Loop features the east side trails, with Pro/Expert/Sport doing the Cathedral.

Pro/Expert rides A+B+A+B = 32 miles.
Sport rides A+B+B = 26 miles.
Beginner rides B (without Cathedral loop) = 8 miles.

(The route goes clockwise through the Cathedral; last year went counterclockwise.)

Here is a map of the A+B Loops.  Here is a map of the B Loop (including Cathedral) by itself.

Here are elevations for the A+B.  Here are grades for the A+B.
